All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. Cain Center has partnered with leading consumer specialty insurance provider Allianz Global Assistance to offer Event Ticket Protector℠ insurance to our guests. When you purchase tickets through our platform, you can choose to protect your ticket investment against an unexpected cancellation. Allianz will reimburse the cost of your tickets when you have an unexpected circumstance come up such as a covered illness or injury, a traffic accident or breakdown, a travel provider delay, and more. Cost of Event Ticket Protector varies per show and is charged separately from your ticket purchase

All tickets are subject to handling fees including an eTix processing fee, credit card processing fee, facility fee, and applicable sales tax.

The health and safety of all Cain Center for the Arts guests, performers and employees is our number one priority. If you are feeling sick or feel you have been exposed to any form of COVID-19, we ask that you do not visit Cain Center for the Arts. All concerns surrounding your tickets due to COVID-19 or any other form of illness are covered in the Event Ticket Protector provided by Allianz.

Cain Center does not discriminate on the basis of disability in admission or access to, treatment of or employment in, its services, programs or activities.

The theatre offers access for patrons using wheelchairs, walkers or other mobility devices. Concessions and restrooms on the Orchestra level can be reached without the use of stairs. Designated seats in the orchestra level can also be reached without stairs, and balcony level by way of elevator. A limited number of wheelchair and raised arm seats are available, and must be reserved when purchasing your ticket.

Assisted hearing devices are available to provide hearing amplification in the venue for patrons with hearing loss. Patrons can sit anywhere in the theater and use the headsets. Hearing devices are available upon request the day of the performance by asking either an usher or a House Manager upon entrance. A Photo ID must be left with House Management to reserve a listening device.

*Please note – not all performances make use of Cain Center’s audio system. Any performances not using the audio system may not have access to assisted listening devices.

Service animals are welcome at Cain Center for the Arts and allowed anywhere in the building that their handler is allowed. A service animal is defined by the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) as (1) a dog (2) individually trained to do work or perform tasks (3) for the benefit an individual with a disability (including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability). Therapy animals, comfort pets, companion animals, and “social/therapy” animals are not considered service animals and are not allowed in Cain Center. Please contact Cain Center Ticket Office to inform us if you are bringing a service animal so that we may better prepare to serve you.

Everyone entering the theater must have a ticket or lap pass. Anyone sitting in a seat must purchase a full price ticket. A “lap pass” may be obtained from the Ticket Office for children 2 years or younger who will not require a seat. Reservations are not required for lap passes. They can be picked up at the Ticket Office the day of the performance. All guests 3 and older must have a ticket, not a lap pass.

All guests under the age of 15 must have a guardian present.

Some events may not be appropriate for all ages. Please check for age restrictions on the show information page or contact the ticket office before purchasing any tickets for children.

When possible, the theatre will offer concessions prior to the start of the performance and at intermission. Concessions will not be open while the performance is taking place.

Cain Center concessions will offer a variety of snacks, water, and soft drinks. For some performances, a full bar will be available. To find out what options will be available, please contact the Ticket Office.

Only lidded beverages purchased at the venue are allowed inside the theatre.

Donors of Cain Center for the Arts with proper credentials will have access to the Donor Lounge, located on the second floor with a private bar. For more information on becoming a Donor and the benefits that provides please see our page WAYS TO GIVE.

Over consumption of alcohol and/or signs of intoxication will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse service including service of alcohol to anyone. Where sold, opened or unopened alcohol, beer, and/or wine may not be taken outside of the building.

No outside food or beverage are allowed inside the premises.

All performances begin promptly at the listed event time. We recommend that you plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to account for parking and traffic.

Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the house manager. Appropriate seating areas and times for latecomers are at the sole discretion of the House Manager and will vary by production. Guests who arrive after the start of the performance will be directed to wait until an appropriate break and then may be seated in designated late seating other than the ticketed seat locations.

Cameras, camera phones, audio, video and digital recorders, paging devices and cell phones are not permitted in the theaters unless arranged with the artist. Guests using these items may be ejected without refund.

As a courtesy to the performers and other audience members, please turn off your watch alarm, beeper, and cell phone or set them to a non-audible mode, or you may be asked to leave the performance. This includes texting during performances. If you need to use your device during the performance, please go to the lobby.

In the event the performance is postponed/rescheduled, patrons will have the option to receive a refund or retain their tickets and use them at the rescheduled performance. All retained tickets from the originally scheduled performance will be honored at the rescheduled date. Guests wishing to receive a refund will be given a specified deadline and instructions for requesting the refund. Refund requests received after the deadline has passed will not be granted. When a performance is cancelled, refunds will be issued at the original point of purchase. Event Ticket Protector is not refundable when a performance is cancelled. If Cain Center issues you a refund for a ticket, it will issue a refund of the ticket’s face value paid. In no event will delivery charges or any other fees or amounts be refunded. If a refund is issued, it will be issued back to the original point of purchase. 

If you are unable to attend a performance, you may donate your tickets back to Cain Center to be used by a family or group who otherwise couldn’t attend.  If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, you may also elect to donate your tickets back rather than receiving a refund or retaining the tickets for the rescheduled event. To donate your tickets, please contact the Ticket Office at tickets@cainarts.org 48 hours BEFORE the showtime. Donated tickets will be given to local charities and nonprofits for their participants to enjoy Cain Center for the Arts. No donated tickets will be resold.

Backpacks and other large bags are not permitted in the theatre. All handbags, diaper bags and cases will be inspected prior to entry.

Firearms and other weapons, including but not limited to concealed weapons, firearms, handguns, knives of any size, explosives, and pepper spray and mace containers are not permitted in the venue and/or public spaces owned and operated by Cain Center for the Arts.

All persons entering the venue and their belongings are subject to search at the decision of Cain Center Management, including bag checks and metal detectors.

No smoking/vaping is permitted anywhere on the entire Cain Center campus.

Tickets may be purchased ONLINE at cainarts.org or by PHONE through the Etix Call Center. Cain Center is supported by our ticketing partner, Etix, through a customer support phone center. Knowledgeable customer service agents are available to assist you before, during, and after your ticket purchase. You may contact the call center Monday – Saturday 9:00am – 8:00pm (EST) and Sunday 12:00-8:00pm, at 1-855-222-2849. Additional support can also be found at https://support.etix.com/. 

Cain Center for the Arts does not have a Box Office on site, but there is a ticket kiosk to process any sales. All ticket sales are through Etix and will be subject to the same fees.

With a relatively low number of tickets available for each event (for our 400-seat theatre), we strive to bring the best events at the best possible price. One way to keep our ticket prices manageable is to prevent ticket gouging. Each ticket purchased from us is a revocable license to attend a particular performance. In making a purchase you are agreeing to not resell any ticket for more than $1 above face value. Reselling tickets at an increased price is strictly prohibited and can result in having your ticket revoked. Cain Center is not responsible for tickets purchased through third parties.

All orders placed must be paid in full at the time of order. No unpaid orders will be held or reserved. Cain Center for the Arts is a cashless facility. All concession, bar, and ticket sales will only accept credit or debit cards. All major credit and debit cards will be accepted: American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa. Check payments are accepted until 48 hours prior to an event. Checks are NOT accepted at events. Checks should be made payable to Cain Center for the Arts.

Events, dates, and times are subject to change. Cain Center for the Arts assumes no responsibility whatsoever for the care and/or protection of any personal belonging left unattended on theatre property or for loss, under any circumstances, including theft, vandalism, or malicious mischief of such belonging. For lost & found, please call the Ticket Office at (980) 689-3101. Cain Center does not hold lost items past 30 days.

Cain Center for the Arts is located at 21348 Catawba Ave in Cornelius, NC. 

The regular office hours for the Ticket Office are 9am-5pm Monday through Friday. The Ticket Office will be closed in observance of all national holidays. The Ticket Office is also open two hours prior to performances and during all shows until the headliner takes the stage. For most performances, the lobby and bar/concessions will open one hour prior to the performance time. The auditorium doors will open 30 minutes prior to the performance.
