In this class we will create mixed media pieces using several painting and mark making techniques while utilizing various materials, such as acrylic paint, painted collage papers, pencils, art crayons, stamps, etc. Students can choose the materials they prefer. Each class will include a short lesson and demo about relevant art techniques before assisting the students with their projects. Basic art principles like composition, value, and color will be reviewed as to how they can enhance students’ artwork.
